Hi Lydia I stumbled across your site searching for All Blacks cake. Love your cake! I'm about to make one for a friends 21st. I have the cake but struggling with the logo and silver fern. Did you use special letter cutters for the "all blacks" name under the fern? If so are you able to tell me what the name of the cutters are please? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks Lisa
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for visiting my blog!
DeleteThese cakes aren't mine unfortunately, but I think the top one (the shirt shaped cake) might have been used with these things called Tappits, they cut out the letters and you can get them in lower case, here is a link to some from Kiwi Cakes: http://kiwicakes.co.nz/kiwi/product_info.php?products_id=5558
Regarding the silver fern I think they just cut a fern shape out of white fondant and painted the black stripes on which is pretty smart!
Hope this helps! Good luck with the cake, I bet it'll look AWESOME!
