ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Lydia Grace, I’m married to Mr S and we have a kitty named Pecan, our happy little family live in Auckland, New Zealand.

In late 2010 I took four Wilton cake decorating courses which pretty much got me hooked on cake decorating, baking and all things sweet and pretty.

I originally started my blog as a sort of brag book of my cakes I made for friends and family under the name Grace Cakes.

Now I'm on a mission to help give out some useful information and tips on baking and cake decorating as well as sharing my experiences (and sometimes failures!) in the kitchen.

Aside from the kitchen you’ll find me taking photos of everything Pecan, listening to music, reading books (usually ones that are also movies), running and drooling over amazing wedding blogs.

How do I sum up who I am? I’m a wife, a baker, a cat lover, a Sunday School teacher, a runner, a student preschool teacher.

Not everything I do I’m good at, but I love to give it I try. I love things to be organised but I’m not, I love interior design but my house doesn’t show it, I love good fashion but can’t afford to look that good.
